Alouette is a silly French Canadian nursery rhyme. Young singers will have fun singing about plucking the feathers out of a bird! My youth choir had many laughs when we learned it. A lot of repetition and canon made learning fun and quickly successful. This was a great piece for my changing voices to have their own special moment. Watch the YouTube video all the way through to see how we added some acting to add to the silliness of this song!
